The Lily Hill Ladies- Junior Does

Another Kiwi daughter that we just couldn't let go. Kix is growing into her legs and we are seeing Kiwi's fantastic front end, length and strong legs on her daughter. Give her another year and I bet you will see here width as well. A peek at her udder-to-be suggest she will also have an impressive udder. We are really happy with the cross of Exotic Bird daughters with Hidden Hills Water Hawthorne.

Her dam line is slow to mature but we will be patient because we know this line also holds up impressively with age. 

ADGA Pedigree

Fae is named in honor of Monet's famous Water Lilly paintings. We may be a tad biased but we believe she is living up to her beautiful name. Fae is the type of goat that demands your attention, even when she is just grazing in the pasture. Fae was retained before she was born after we fell in love with her full sibling, Fleur, from the year before. We let Fleur go to a close friend at Drewem Goats where she is sure to reach her full potential. You can see her  here.

We weren't going to retain any kids this season as we are really trying to stay small. But by the time Sunshine was 6 weeks old we knew she had to stay. This doeling is so correct that we can't help but take pictures of her all the time! She is also our first kid out of Lily Hill WH Moves like Jagger and we are excited to watch her grow. Her pedigree combines our favorite West Coast lines with A line breeding to Phoenix Farm Exotic Bird. What's not to love?
